Dr. Godfried Adjei is an experienced oncology pharmacist and medical educator with a strong foundation in clinical oncology, radiopharmacy, pharmaceutical management, and research. He is dedicated to advancing oncology pharmacy practices in Ghana through education, policy advocacy, and evidence-based care. With a passion for improving patient outcomes, he has demonstrated a solid track record in multidisciplinary collaboration and healthcare innovation.

Currently, Godfried serves as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist and Radiopharmacist at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where he plays a crucial role in reviewing chemotherapy prescriptions, ensuring appropriate medication selection, and providing specialized education and counseling to patients. His collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary oncology teams help in developing individualized treatment plans, ensuring high standards of care. He also contributes to the field of pharmacy education as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator at Alliance Health College, where he designs and delivers training curricula for pharmacy assistants, incorporating practical workshops and mentorship to enhance the learning experience.

In addition to his clinical and educational roles, Godfried has significant experience in pharmaceutical marketing and management. He previously served as a Medical Representative and Head of Marketing at Neo-Pharma Centre Limited, where he was instrumental in product registration, regulatory approvals, and developing strategies that resulted in increased sales. He also provided community pharmacy services at Jinlet Pharmacy, focusing on medication counseling and inventory management.

Godfried holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Oncology from Newcastle University. He has completed several specialized certifications, including in Radiopharmacy, Palliative Care, and Project Management, among others. He is an active member of various professional organizations, including the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, the Oncology Pharmacy Association of Ghana, and the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners.

His research contributions include studies on the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine among cancer patients and assessing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Godfried is deeply committed to continuous professional development and is passionate about advancing medical education, policy advocacy, and enhancing the delivery of palliative and supportive care.
